The project monthly summary table provides measured data and key performance indicators for the DER project.

To view data for another date range, select your desired months and press “Go”.

To download data from the monthly summary table in CSV format, press the download button to the top right of the table.

Automated data filtering can be enabled or disabled via the control. Filtered data automatically checks to determine if the energy streams measured are consistent with each other (e.g. fuel consumption or heat recovery are reported only when a DER is reporting generated power). Disabling this control shows all data available.

Production data is not in real time and may be delayed as data is periodically reported and uploaded to this website.

Data Displayed:

The monthly summary plot shows monthly sums of measured data and monthly averages of key performance indicators.

To view data for another date range, select your desired months and press “Go”.

To download data used to create the monthly summary plot in CSV format, press the download button to the top right of the chart.

Automated data filtering can be enabled or disabled via the control. Filtered data automatically checks to determine if the energy streams measured are consistent with each other (e.g. fuel consumption or heat recovery are reported only when a DER is reporting generated power). Disabling this control shows all data available.

Click on legend entries below the plot, if present, to show or hide data.

The project performance benchmark page shows how the DER project performs compared to similar-sized projects using the same technology in the same facility category. The key performance index used for benchmarking can be changed by selecting the desired rating from the table headings at the bottom of the page. Clicking on each result in the distribution will bring up the name and link to other related facilities.

To view data for another date range, select your desired months and press “Go”.

Note that benchmarking only occurs on data with automated data filtering on, to ensure consistent ranking results.

The peak demand reduction shows the contribution of the CHP system to reducing the utility grid peak demand, and other calculations that were utilized in previous NYSERDA CHP performance programs. The peak demand reduction (kWP) is defined as the average CHP output during the period spanning May 1 through October 31, Monday through Friday, 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM. Federal holidays are excluded from this period.

The total generation (kWhA) is defined as the total net CHP generation during the period evaluated.

The two CHP efficiencies (FCECHP) are program specific, and differ slightly from the conventional CHP efficiency.

The 2013 CHP systems manual defines FCECHP as the combined net electrical and useful heat recovery divided by the fuel input at 1,032 BTU/CF HHV, however the useful heat recovery is divided by a displaced boiler efficiency of 80%.

The 2010 CHP systems manual defines FCECHP as the combined net electrical and useful heat recovery divided by the fuel input at 928 BTU/CF LHV. No displaced boiler efficiency is assumed in the FCECHP calculation.
